About Digital Gambia Limited
The Gambia being a signatory to the international telecommunication union (ITU) took part in the signing of a treaty in Geneva, Switzerland in the year 2006 where it was agreed that all ITU member states should switchover from analogue to digital broadcasting through digital terrestrial.
It is in honour of this agreement that the government of the Gambia through the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure (MOICI) established Digital Gambia Limited (DGL) to oversee and ensure smooth transition of digital migration process in the Gambia with EXCAF being its technical partner.
Digital Gambia limited (DGL) is a licensed public signal distributor in the Gambia, established and operating under the laws of the republic of The Gambia.
Dgl will be receiving television signals from the content service providers, such as GRTS, QTV, Star TV, Paradise TV, MTA, and distributes these programmes through terrestrial to households throughout the length and breadth of The Gambia.

To be a responsive signal distributor in the provision of ultra-reliable, affordable and quality digital signals in the Gambia.

To lead the Gambia’s digital migration process by ensuring quality distribution services across all parts of the Gambia through a platform that ensures the Gambia’s cultural heritage is maintained and enhanced via television content.
